I’m a DevOps-certified Infrastructure Engineer who bridges legacy environments and cloud-native architectures through automation and containerization. I’ve built and supported scalable ICT operations by monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving reliability—while continuously digitizing workflows to reduce manual effort and speed decision-making. At UNICEF Tigray Field Office, I ensured uninterrupted ICT services during emergencies by coordinating critical installations like VSAT and solar backup power, and I automated operational workflows using PowerFx, reducing manual work by 40%. I also transformed SharePoint into a collaborative operations environment, delivered training to improve adoption and compliance, and supported operational planning through effective data collection and management. Earlier, I administered SUSE Linux and Windows servers, managed VMware/Nutanix virtualization, and delivered Power BI dashboards using data from 1,000+ SQL tables to drive actionable insights. I’ve also implemented end-to-end CI/CD with Jenkins + Terraform + Ansible + Docker + Kubernetes (GKE), including Helm-based monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana—integrating reliability, performance tuning, and disaster-recovery thinking. I’m currently pursuing an MSc in Data Science to deepen analytics-driven monitoring and performance optimization.
