Sukh Gill

At Loblaw Digital, I lead software and platform engineering across PC Express, Shoppers Drug Mart and Joe Fresh. My organization supports customer-facing applications, backend services and shared commerce platforms across 14 teams. I helped establish reusable capabilities including Server-Driven UI, shared APIs and commerce experiences. This work improved delivery across brands, and a Shoppers Drug Mart Android quality initiative raised crash-free performance from approximately 89% to over 99%. Previously, at Jam3, I led a 40+ person engineering organization delivering cloud platforms and digital experiences for clients including Meta, EA Games, Toyota and Tonal. I architected live-stream infrastructure for EA Games supporting 5–6 million concurrent viewers during peak events. I’ve stayed close to technology as my leadership responsibilities have grown, remaining involved in architecture reviews and system design. I focus on pragmatic architecture, reliable delivery, clear ownership and developing engineering leaders.
