At Orion Real Estate Group, I handled property accounting remotely from Colombia, reconciling an average of 140 properties each month in Yardi. I also reviewed the work of a three-person team and supported monthly financial reporting for management in the U.S. At AppGate, I managed accounting for Colombia, Brazil, and Japan in SAP, reported to the corporate VP Controller in the U.S., and supported the U.S. close. I prepared IFRS financial statements and reports for headquarters and Supersociedades. I led the annual statutory audit process in Colombia, coordinating with statutory auditors and external auditors. I also participated in implementing and configuring SAP and QuickBooks, and implemented accounting and financial controls in Colombia. Earlier, at Verizon, I prepared financial statements and reconciliations and participated in SAP implementation. At Grupo Skies Colombia Ltda., I handled accounting tasks and participated in opening the company in Colombia and implementing Siigo.
