Jaffar Lone

I’m a results-driven Senior QA Leader and Service Delivery Manager with 24+ years of experience across Quality Assurance, Test Automation, and Delivery Management in enterprise and SaaS environments. I lead high-performing QA teams, from strategy through execution, to consistently improve product quality. My work focuses on scalable automation frameworks and robust QA governance—using Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, and CI/CD pipelines—to reduce production defects and accelerate release cycles. I’m particularly strong in SDLC/STLC management, Agile/Scrum delivery, and defect lifecycle management with clear QA metrics and KPIs. I’ve delivered measurable outcomes, including reducing manual testing effort by over 40% through automation, lowering production defects by up to 35%, and improving release confidence via smoke and regression suites. I also integrate automation into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and partner closely with stakeholders to resolve business-critical issues. As a service delivery leader, I ensure SLA adherence and continuous quality improvement across multiple clients, while mentoring and performance-managing teams (up to 13 engineers). I bring a security testing mindset from Burp Suite experience and bring certified fundamentals from Google Cybersecurity and Project Management.
