About
At Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), I’m studying Medical Social Work and researching the participation of People Living with HIV in support groups. I organized and moderated focus groups, analyzed participants’ experiences, and developed recommendations to improve retention and psychosocial well-being.
During addiction and substance abuse rehabilitation fieldwork, I conducted intake assessments, provided supportive counseling, and assisted with therapeutic group sessions. I also collaborated on social reintegration plans with multidisciplinary teams and families.
In pediatric disability fieldwork, I supported children and families through care planning and accessibility assessments. I’m certified in Basic Wheelchair Service Provision and Basic Life Support & Emergency Care, and I’m interested in youth-led social entrepreneurship that connects public health with technological innovation.
