Alejandro Iglesias Calvo

I am looking for a fully remote, full-time role from Spain where I can build and operate .NET backend services, automate Azure infrastructure, and improve the reliability of distributed systems. I am particularly interested in backend engineering, cloud platforms, DevOps, SRE, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code in a collaborative engineering team. I build and operate banking microservices on Azure for ClearBank through Wizeline, owning delivery from design and implementation to deployment and production support. My work includes modernizing .NET services, designing REST APIs, asynchronous integrations with Azure Service Bus, and standardizing AKS deployments with Helm. At Servantrip, I developed .NET 8 microservices for high-volume B2B applications handling more than five million daily transactions, using event-driven architecture, CQRS, CI/CD, and distributed observability. I also led critical API integrations and contributed to distributed-system architecture decisions. My previous work includes cloud-native platforms, infrastructure automation with Terraform, Azure DevOps pipelines, and backend development for Clarcat, CyC, and the Navarra Health System. Outside my professional roles, I build distributed robotics services, AI agents, a high-availability Kubernetes homelab, and a multi-tenant invoice-management SaaS. These personal projects give me practical experience across .NET, Python, GitOps, Java, and Kotlin.
