Business Development Executive

This role is available as part of the DWP Kickstart Scheme and the role has been created for applicants aged 16 to 24 year olds onUniversal Credit who are at risk of long term unemployment.

We are looking for a person, like you, to join our small team as a Business Development Executive - the role is new and we are able to tailor the role around the individual.

These are the typical duties and activities that we would like you to perform:

Identifying and nurturing new opportunities and leads using LinkedIn and other online tools Updating/maintaining Hubspot CRM Researching UK/Europe events that could offer potential speaking and training opportunities Responding to enquiries for product/service information Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers Researching organisations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about training/speaking opportunities Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings Working with the Marketing Executive to help plan new marketing initiatives Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s service offering Developing quotes and proposals Ensure any quotes/proposals sent are followed up in a timely manner and responses accurarely recorded Assist in developing and maintaining a 3-6 month pipeline of contacts/work Research potential guests for Inclusion Bites podcast.
