Sales Engineer

Why it’s worth it:

Are you energized by helping security leaders rethink how their SOC operates in the age of agentic AI? As a Sales Engineer at ReliaQuest , you'll be the technical voice partnering with our Sales team to win new business and expand within existing customers. You'll show some of the world's most trusted brands how GreyMatter, our Agentic AI Security Operations Platform, eliminates Tier 1 and Tier 2 work, accelerates detection and response, and unifies their existing security stack without rip-and-replace. Along the way, you'll surface the customer insights that shape the future of GreyMatter and ReliaQuest .

The everyday hustle:

Partner with Account Executives across the full sales cycle, from discovery through technical close, to understand each prospect's security operations challenges, tech stack, and business drivers.

Lead technical discovery to uncover gaps in detection coverage, response time, analyst capacity, SIEM cost, attack surface visibility, and digital risk exposure.

Deliver compelling demonstrations and "Day in the Life" sessions across the GreyMatter platform: Core (Detection, Containment, Investigation, Response), DRP (Digital Risk Protection), Discover (CAASM), Transit (security data pipeline), and Agentic Teammates.

• Position GreyMatter's agentic AI and automation as the path to eliminating T1/T2 toil, reducing MTTD/MTTR, and scaling the SOC without linear headcount growth.
• Build technical business cases that quantify risk reduction, cost optimization (SIEM spend, tool consolidation, headcount efficiency), and operational efficiency.
• Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires with accuracy and speed.
