ORGANIZATION
The Partnership for Public Service is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization working to build a better government and a stronger democracy. For more than 20 years, we have brought together government leaders, policymakers, civic leaders and the public to tackle some of the most important challenges facing our government and the people it serves.
At a time when effective, capable government matters more than ever, the Partnership is helping shape what comes next. We educate the public about the value of government and the consequences when its capacity is weakened; work with leaders and stakeholders to advance bold ideas that make government more effective, responsive and accountable; and equip leaders at the federal, state and local levels with the skills they need to deliver results for the public.
Partnership staff have the opportunity to engage with consequential issues, influential leaders and a wide range of partners who are committed to improving government and public service.
Our staff bring diverse experiences, perspectives and expertise to a shared mission. We are mission-driven, intellectually curious, creative, collaborative, optimistic and inclusive. Our work is strategic and fast-paced, and we value people who bring both ambition and humility to their work.
We hire smart and friendly people who are great at what they do and good to one another in the process.
Our work is guided by four core values:
Passion for public service and a commitment to making government more effective
People who foster a culture of learning, leadership, collaboration, inclusion and respect
Persistence to drive meaningful change, take thoughtful risks and deliver results
Promise to be trustworthy, nonpartisan and responsible stewards of our resources
