Maintain and reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts in compliance with US GAAP, investigating and resolving reconciling items in a timely manner.
Prepare monthly and quarterly variance analyses comparing actuals to prior periods, and partner with FP&A to clearly explain significant P&L and balance sheet fluctuations.
Support the financial reporting cycle by preparing and assembling reporting packages, including management-level P&L summaries, variance analyses, and supporting schedules.
Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX controls, and company accounting policies through periodic control testing activities that validate the design and operating effectiveness of key controls.
Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and serve as a key contributor to external and internal audit activities, including preparing PBC schedules and coordinating evidence gathering.
Collaborate with Finance and IT to evaluate and implement AI-driven tools, automation solutions, and ERP improvements, providing functional accounting expertise and participating in testing and validation activities.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve data quality, and increase automation across general ledger activities.
