About Wati
Started as a WhatsApp team inbox in 2020, Wati has evolved into a full revenue orchestration system that goes beyond a single platform. We empower businesses that sell, support, and grow through conversations by observing customer intent in real-time, deciding the next best revenue action, and executing it seamlessly across marketing, sales, and support—all within WhatsApp and connected messaging channels.
Our Platform & AI Capabilities
Wati is designed for scalability and intelligence. Our AI-native platform simplifies complex customer communication operations through a unified inbox, a robust multi-channel messaging infrastructure, and no-code automation. At the heart of our solution is Astra, our intelligent AI layer, which helps you create AI Agents for all customer interactions and all your messaging platforms. By integrating AI agents into the ecosystem, we enable businesses of all sizes to deliver measurable ROI and build deeper customer relationships.
Our Backing & Partnerships
Trusted by over 16,000 customers across 190+ countries, Wati is proudly backed by world-class investors including Tiger Global, Sequoia Capital, DST Global, and Shopify. As a Premium-tier Partner of Meta and Google, we maintain the highest standards of platform excellence and integration.
About the Role
Position Background & Focus
Wati is building an AI-first GTM engine to scale revenue without scaling headcount.
We are moving from structured growth to intelligent automation at scale.
We are looking for a GTM Engineer – Revenue Technology (AI & Automation) to design and ship the systems that power this.
Your Mandate
Work across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and RevOps teams.
Truly understand how GTM actually operates today (not just how it is documented).
Design and ship automation, integrations, and AI systems that 10x team output.
Turn fragmented tools, data, and workflows into a clean, scalable revenue engine.
If successful – you will directly shape how Wati scales revenue.
What Success Looks Like
GTM runs on automated, scalable systems.
AI handles high-volume operational work.
Sales teams operate with real-time intelligence.
Revenue becomes predictable and data-driven.
What You Will Do
Design and build GTM automation systems – automate lead routing, pipeline movement, lifecycle workflows, and sync data across CRM, billing, product, and support tools.
Deliver GTM internal products end-to-end – own the full cycle from discovery → build → rollout → adoption → iteration, covering sales automation workflows, account intelligence systems, pipeline & forecasting infrastructure, and expansion/churn detection engines.
Build AI agents (core) – use LLMs and workflows to qualify and enrich leads (AI SDRs), detect buying signals and prioritize accounts, surface deal risks and next-best actions, and automate repetitive GTM decisions.
Create the GTM intelligence layer – turn raw data (CRM data, product usage, conversations, campaigns, pipeline signals, deal insights, customer behavior) into real-time, actionable intelligence for revenue teams.
Run experiments that move key metrics – continuously improve conversion rates, speed to lead, pipeline velocity, and sales productivity. You define success and own the outcome.
Requirements
Experience & Capabilities
You are a builder first (not a process manager).
You have built real GTM automation or AI systems in a SaaS environment.
You think in terms of business systems, workflows, APIs, and automation logic.
You are comfortable with messy data and fast iteration cycles.
You care about key metrics: pipeline, conversion, velocity.
