Australia Wide, Work from Home | Full-time | Permanent WFH Job code: S21198AU Before you read any further, answer these five questions honestly.
────────────────────────────────────────── Q1. Do you have a strong track record in inside sales, telesales or phone-based account management?
YES - You have done this before and your numbers back you up. You know how to build relationships over the phone and you are proud of what you have delivered.
NO - If you are new to phone-based sales this role will be a stretch. We need someone who can hit the ground running from a home office from day one.
────────────────────────────────────────── Q2. Can you manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close, completely from home?
YES - You know how to run your own pipeline and manage your day without someone standing over you. You do not need to be micro-managed to perform. You have the structure and discipline to get results from home and you have proved it before.
NO - If you need an office environment or a manager close by to stay on track, this probably is not the right fit. This role is built for people who thrive independently.
────────────────────────────────────────── Q3. Does a total package of $95.8K with a guaranteed 50% OTE for your first three months work for you?
YES - Your secured package is base $65K plus 12% super $7.8K plus $23K OTE. The first three months come with a guaranteed 50% OTE so you can settle in without financial pressure. After that your effort drives your income.
NO - If you need a higher base to commit, we understand. This role rewards performance, not tenure.
────────────────────────────────────────── Q4. Are you genuinely comfortable building rapport and trust entirely over the phone and video?
YES - You are not relying on body language or in-person chemistry. You know how to make a real connection in the first 30 seconds of a call and keep clients coming back.
NO - If you find phone-only relationship building difficult, a field-based role like our BDM or Sales Account Manager positions may be a better fit.
────────────────────────────────────────── Q5. Do you live regionally, rurally or face a long commute that is eating into your day?
YES - This role was built for exactly that situation. Permanent WFH, no office, no commute, and a career with a genuinely growing business. Your location is not a barrier here, it is irrelevant.
NO - Not regional? No problem. This role is open to anyone in Australia who meets the brief. The WFH setup works wherever you are.

ABOUT THRYV
Thryv has been helping local businesses compete for over 125 years, from print directories to an AI-powered platform built to grow small businesses through digital marketing. The businesses we work with are the plumber trying to get found on Google, the salon owner who never has time to follow up, the family restaurant competing against chains with bigger budgets.
We give them the tools to compete. And we give the people who work here a career worth having. Our culture runs on accountability, genuine relationships and doing the right thing. We take ownership, back each other and when it goes well, we celebrate it properly.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Be part of the growth story
Thryv is in a major growth phase across Australia and New Zealand, with 36 roles currently open and a further 40 to 50 positions coming. The Inside Sales team is at the heart of that growth. This is not a role you join and wait for things to happen. You are joining at exactly the right moment, with real opportunity to grow with the business as it scales.
This is a permanent, full-time work-from-home role. You are not expected in an office. You are not tied to a capital city. Whether you are in regional Victoria, rural Queensland, a coastal town or a suburb with a long commute, if you have a strong sales and account management background and a good internet connection, this role works for you.
You will manage the full sales cycle over the phone and video, reaching out to existing Thryv customers and new prospects, growing accounts, closing deals and hitting monthly targets. You will have the structure of a high-performing team behind you with the autonomy to manage your day from your own space.
