About The Agile Monkeys :
The Agile Monkeys is a software boutique with over 75 people and we keep growing. We do two things:
We create products: We are a very creative team that is constantly pursuing new ideas and projects we love. Now we are focused on building products related to search and AI. We take great joy in tackling the challenges of AI associated with scalability and information retrieval.
We deliver bespoke consulting solutions to leading enterprises , driving strategic transformation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.
Why join us?
We’re independent and self-funded , so we get to build what we believe in — no investor politics
You’ll join a radically creative, fast-moving team that values ownership and experimentation
We work globally, but our roots are in the Canary Islands 🌴 — remote-first, international, and human-centered
We’re entering a hyper-creative phase in AI and product development — and we want your brain in the mix
For a trusted customer, we are looking for a curious, organized, and sharp Data Science & Analytics Specialist to help us solve complex data challenges and build a reliable foundation for marketing and business decision-making. If you thrive on untangling messy data, love finding clarity where others see noise, and have strong communication skills to bring stakeholders along the journey, this role is for you.
What You’ll Work On
Marketing Optimization Challenges
Investigate discrepancies between Google Analytics and purchase data (ranging from 7–65%).
Identify why trends diverge (e.g., GA shows up while purchases go down).
Ensure ad spend optimization runs on trustworthy data.
Data Flow & Engineering Solutions
Trace data pipelines end-to-end to find breakpoints, particularly with Google Click IDs in the Salesforce integration.
Build a clear solution path for new website tracking with GA4 and Salesforce.
Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, engineering, sales) to implement fixes.
Business Auditability & Reporting
Improve revenue tracking by moving beyond last-touch attribution.
Define and implement revenue states (booked, ticketed, consumed, less cancellations).
Fix reporting gaps where cancellations overwrite order history.
Help align sales forecasts with actual performance through better data definitions and visibility.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in data engineering, analytics, or related fields with hands-on knowledge of GA4, Salesforce, and data pipelines.
Technical skills in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, R, or similar).
Strong communication skills: ability to explain complex data problems and solutions clearly to non-technical teams.
Problem-solving mindset: analytical, resourceful, and committed to finding the root cause.
Organized & proactive: you can manage multiple moving pieces and drive projects to completion.
Why Join Us
You’ll be joining a growing team tackling critical challenges at the intersection of marketing, sales, and data. This is a high-impact role where your work will directly influence how the business allocates resources, measures success, and grows sustainably.
