Job Title: PPC Specialist (Remote)
About the Client: a digital marketing agency focused on helping local service businesses grow through measurable, results-driven strategies. The company works with businesses across industries such as pest control, HVAC, roofing, solar, cleaning services, and legal services.
Overview: We're looking for a PPC account manager who can take full ownership of a portfolio of Google Ads accounts from day one. You'll be trusted to manage accounts independently: making strategic decisions, spotting problems before they're pointed out, and finding new ways to drive results for our clients. If you need step-by-step direction, this isn't the right fit.
Responsibilities :
Structure campaigns and ad groups, choose bidding strategies, and configure targeting to match each client's goals.
Manage budgets and pacing so spend is allocated efficiently throughout the month.
Write compelling ad copy and assets that drive clicks and conversions.
Mine search term reports regularly and maintain negative keyword lists to eliminate wasted spend.
Adjust match types, bids, and keyword coverage based on performance data.
Continuously improve Quality Score and Ad Rank to lower costs and win more valuable impressions.
Implement and troubleshoot offline conversion tracking, connecting CRM, call tracking, and lead data back to Google Ads so bidding optimizes toward real business outcomes.
Make sure every account is measuring what actually matters to the client.
Think beyond standard best practices to find new ways to improve account performance.
Stay current on platform updates, beta features, and industry changes, and bring new ideas to the team.
Contribute to proposals and account strategy for prospective clients.
Qualifications:
2+ years of hands-on Google Ads management experience (adjust as needed).
A proven ability to manage accounts independently with minimal oversight.
Expert-level knowledge of keyword match types and search term management.
Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager.
A solid grasp of the Google Ads auction and Ad Rank factors.
A self-starter mindset: you take initiative, solve problems on your own, and hold yourself accountable for results.
Curiosity and a habit of constant learning. You follow the industry because you want to, not because you have to.
Experience with local service businesses, call tracking platforms, or CRM integrations is a plus.
Competitive compensation and benefits package HMO Day 1 Allowances Attendance bonus Paid time offs Company-provided work setup (laptop, monitor, accessories) Training, career growth, and global exposure A collaborative and supportive team culture
