Our client is building Taylor, an agentic AI tax accountant that people reach by call, text, chat, or email, with staff CPAs reviewing every high-impact decision. You'll own product features end to end on a small, remote engineering team, from backend data architecture to the screens users see, and turn the AI workflows the AI team builds into a product people trust with their taxes. You'll feel at home here if you'd rather ship and learn than wait for a perfect spec.

Responsibilities

Own features end to end. Design, build, and run full-stack features in TypeScript, Node.js, and React, from data model to UI.

Shape the backend. Help define services, data pipelines, and event flows as the product and customer base grow.

Integrate AI into the product. Work with the AI engineers to put agent workflows into reliable, polished user experiences.

Build for a regulated domain. Handle sensitive financial data with auditability and access controls designed from the start.

Build AI-native. Use AI coding tools daily and help set how the team builds with them.
