About RiskExec
RiskExec is a growing SaaS company that delivers compliance analytics and regulatory reporting software to financial institutions and lenders. Our platform helps customers meet complex regulatory requirements, produce defensible analyses, and identify new growth opportunities.
Working at RiskExec
RiskExec is building a world-class compliance and business intelligence platform trusted by banks, credit unions, fintech companies, and other regulated lenders.
We help customers navigate complex regulatory requirements while making better business decisions. Our operating model is built around speed, rigor, accountability, and customer outcomes. We value people who take ownership, work directly with their colleagues, communicate clearly, and remain accountable for results.
As an entrepreneurial organization undergoing significant product and AI transformation, our work does not always conform to a traditional 9-to-5 schedule. This role requires sound judgment, responsiveness, and a willingness to engage when critical customer or business needs arise.
Role Overview
RiskExec’s customers rely on our platform to assess high-stakes regulatory risk, produce defensible analyses, and turn complex data into decisions they can trust and act on.
This role exists because Fair Lending and adjacent disciplines—including Fair Servicing and Redlining—are becoming more strategic, visible, and demanding for financial institutions. Customers need faster insights, clearer workflows, stronger defensibility, and greater automation. RiskExec must meet that demand with product leadership that is commercially sharp, deeply grounded in the domain, and capable of converting customer and regulatory complexity into shipped software.
The Senior Director, Product Management will own the product direction and business outcomes for RiskExec’s Fair Lending, Fair Servicing, and Redlining modules. You will set priorities, define tradeoffs, drive roadmap execution, and ensure the platform delivers measurable improvements in adoption, retention, expansion, customer trust, and operating efficiency.
This is not a coordination role. It is a product leadership role with direct accountability for execution and outcomes. You will own what we build, why it matters, how it wins, and whether it delivers value in the market.
Location We are considering candidates based in the United States who can work remotely. Candidates located in the Eastern or Central time zones are preferred.
What You Will Own
You will own the end-to-end results of the assigned product modules.
Product strategy and roadmap: Define the direction, priorities, sequencing, tradeoffs, and de-scoping decisions for Fair Lending, Fair Servicing, Redlining, and related analyses within the compliance analytics suite.
Customer outcomes and adoption: Drive measurable improvements in product usage, workflow completion, time to insight, renewal health, and customer value realization.
Commercial leverage: Provide the product strategy, evidence, and inputs Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing need to support packaging, positioning, competitive differentiation, account expansion, webinars, thought leadership, and customer-facing proof points.
Voice-of-customer operating system: Build a structured intake process across Sales, Customer Success, Support, Implementation, and direct customer conversations. Synthesize those signals into product decisions and close the loop with internal teams and customers.
Competitive position: Maintain a clear view of market alternatives, emerging threats, feature-parity decisions, and opportunities to strengthen RiskExec’s differentiation.
Quality and trust: Ensure product behavior is compliance-grade, analytical outputs are defensible, and releases are reliable, understandable, and ready for customers operating in regulated environments.
Enablement for scale: Create repeatable onboarding, training, workflow, and self-service assets that reduce dependence on services and improve consistency across the customer base.
Scope Boundary
You are accountable for product direction, prioritization, value delivery, adoption, and market success.
Engineering owns how the product is architected and built. You will partner closely with Engineering and DevOps to support delivery, but your mandate is to define outcomes, force clarity, make tradeoffs, and hold the organization accountable to agreed commitments.
How You Will Drive Impact
This is a high-output operating role. You will run a disciplined product cadence, make decisions using evidence, and ship capabilities that improve customer outcomes and business performance.
You will operate through a clear rhythm:
Weekly product execution review with Engineering: Confirm scope, assess delivery risks and dependencies, evaluate release readiness, and resolve open decisions.
Customer discovery and validation every two weeks: Observe workflows, identify adoption friction, assess renewal risk, review win-loss signals, and validate usability.
Monthly suite business review: Evaluate adoption, retention risk, roadmap progress, services burden, support trends, and revenue impact.
You will have decision authority over priority order, MVP definitions, roadmap tradeoffs, and what the team stops doing. Executive alignment will be required when decisions involve material investment, company strategy, or significant customer commitments.
You will serve as the escalation owner when customer urgency, technical constraints, regulatory sensitivity, and commercial pressure collide. Your responsibility is to surface tradeoffs early, present the case clearly, and drive a decision rather than allow ambiguity to slow execution.
How Success Will Be Measured
Roadmap throughput and predictability
Cycle time and release reliability
Adoption of shipped capabilities
Workflow completion and feature engagement
Renewal health and reduction in churn risk
Expansion and cross-sell contribution
Reduction in services-intensive implementation patterns
Product-related defect trends, severity, audit concerns, and customer escalations
Cross-Functional & Executive Interfaces
You will work directly with executives and functional leaders. You will own the product narrative for your suite and ensure the company understands where RiskExec is investing, why those investments matter, and what outcomes are expected.
You will partner with:
CEO and Executive Team: Suite strategy, investment decisions, business impact, and progress against expected outcomes.
Chief Product Officer: Portfolio alignment, roadmap governance, the product operating model, and RiskExec’s AI-enabled product transformation.
CTO and Engineering leadership: Delivery commitments, sequencing, platform constraints, quality standards, and technical tradeoffs.
Customer Success and Support: Adoption friction, renewal risk, workflow gaps, escalation patterns, and implementation scalability.
Marketing: Messaging accuracy, launch readiness, customer proof points, thought leadership, webinars, and market education grounded in shipped value.
Regulatory and subject-matter experts: Interpretation, defensibility, analytical accuracy, and compliance-grade product behavior.
Expect tension. This role requires balancing customer urgency, regulatory nuance, engineering capacity, commercial opportunity, and long-term product coherence.
Your job is not to absorb that tension quietly. Your job is to make it visible, structure the tradeoffs, and drive the organization to a decision.
Qualifications Required 10–15+ years of product leadership, domain leadership, or adjacent operating experience, with clear ownership of shipped outcomes.
Deep expertise in financial services compliance, with demonstrated command of Fair Lending, Fair Servicing, Redlining, or an adjacent regulatory analytics discipline with credible transferability.
Proven ability to translate complex domain knowledge, customer workflows, and regulatory requirements into enterprise SaaS capabilities.
Strong analytical judgment, including the ability to build prioritization cases using data, customer evidence, commercial logic, and risk-based tradeoffs.
Experience partnering with Engineering to deliver complex software without blurring accountability between product direction and technical execution.
Executive-grade communication skills: concise, direct, structured, and credible when defending tradeoffs with senior leaders and customers.
Demonstrated ability to improve adoption, retention, expansion, or operating efficiency through product decisions.
Preferred
Experience in a private equity-backed or similarly high-accountability operating environment.
Experience moving products from services-intensive implementations toward repeatable, scalable, and self-service adoption.
Experience with AI-assisted analytics, automation, decision support, or workflow intelligence in regulated environments.
Experience producing customer-facing thought leadership, webinars, or market education connected to product strategy and shipped capabilities.
Familiarity with compliance analytics, statistical testing, model governance, audit workflows, or regulatory examination processes.
Traits That Win at RiskExec
High-accountability operator: Commits, ships, measures outcomes, and owns misses without excuses.
Customer-reality first: Understands actual workflows, decision contexts, data constraints, and audit pressure. Does not build from anecdotes alone.
Ruthless prioritizer: Protects focus, says no early, and understands that sequencing is strategy.
Systems thinker: Sees the connections among onboarding, data quality, analytical assumptions, reporting outputs, customer trust, and regulatory risk.
Commercially fluent: Understands what drives renewals, expansion, differentiation, and willingness to pay.
AI-native product thinker: Identifies ways to use automation, intelligence, and workflow design to reduce manual effort, accelerate insights, and improve defensibility.
Direct collaborator: Drives alignment quickly, escalates cleanly, and does not tolerate slow drift or unresolved ambiguity.
Why This Role Matters
Fair Lending, Fair Servicing, and Redlining sit at the center of customer trust, regulatory scrutiny, and reputational risk. The institutions RiskExec serves need software that helps them move faster without sacrificing accuracy, usability, defensibility, or control.
This role will directly shape how RiskExec competes in one of its most important product areas. Strong execution will improve roadmap velocity, increase adoption, reduce services drag, strengthen customer retention, and create clearer market differentiation.
The mandate is significant: build products customers trust, Sales can defend, implementation teams can scale, and executives can invest behind with confidence.
