Our client in the compostable packaging industry is looking for a Business Development Manager to build and grow their protein tray, produce tray and packaging, and grocery perimeter business with a target market of meat, poultry, and seafood processors, produce growers, packers and fresh-cut processors, and grocery perimeter departments. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the sales process and project timeline from lead generation and product trials to customer approval, sales, and account growth. Ideal candidates already have strong industry connections, knowledge of these products and markets, and experience managing lengthy sales cycles, product trials, and approvals. This role requires a true hunter who can travel regularly and has a genuine passion for sustainability.
