Are you ready to make a lasting impact on literacy?
At Really Great Reading , we are building a bright, diverse, and passionate team dedicated to leading the industry in improving literacy scores nationwide. With nearly two decades of leadership bringing the Science of Reading to thousands of schools, we design innovative products, training, and materials that transform how educators teach and how students learn. Here, we empower our team with the tools, support, and professional growth opportunities they need to thrive in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment—where your work truly makes a difference.
Why This Role Matters
Behind every successful product is a clear story about the problem it solves, the value it delivers, and why it matters to the people making the decision. At Really Great Reading , product marketing connects what we build to the educators and district leaders who choose it, while giving our sales teams the clarity and tools they need to bring those solutions to schools and students.
With a major new product launch ahead and a renewed focus on helping current customers get the full value of their programs, this role will shape how RGR brings products to market, communicates their value, and builds lasting customer relationships.
Success in this role means launches arrive on schedule with sales teams ready to sell, our positioning and messaging are clear and consistent, enablement is actively used in the field, and product marketing contributes measurably to pipeline, adoption, retention, and expansion.
The Role
The Director, Product Marketing & Go-to-Market is the commercial bridge between our products, our customers, and our sales teams.
You’ll lead go-to-market strategy and launches, positioning and messaging, pricing and packaging, sales enablement, and competitive and customer insight across RGR’s product portfolio. Working closely with Product, Sales, Partnerships, Customer Success, Research, and Curriculum, you’ll turn product strategy and market insight into plans the organization can execute. You’ll also lead and develop the Product Marketing Manager and partner across Marketing to bring those plans to market.
The ideal candidate can move comfortably between strategy and execution: equally comfortable shaping the positioning for a major product launch, joining a sales call to hear how that messaging lands with buyers, and turning customer, market, and performance insights into sharper positioning, stronger enablement, and better go-to-market decisions.
