Role Overview
Looking for an SAP Clean Core & Extensibility Architect with strong expertise in ABAP Cloud, RAP, and the 3-Tier Extensibility Model to drive upgrade-safe development and modernization of custom code.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and enforce Clean Core strategy, governance, and technical standards.
- Translate legacy WRICEF objects to clean, upgrade-safe extensions (BAdIs, Events, RAP).
- Architect and develop using ABAP Cloud, RAP, CDS, and released APIs.
- Implement In-App, Developer, and Side-by-Side extensibility across S/4HANA & BTP.
Required Skills
- 12+ years in SAP ABAP/S/4HANA development.
- Strong in ABAP Cloud, RAP, CDS, OData, Events, BAdIs.
- Expertise in 3-Tier Extensibility, Cloud APIs, and modernization tools.
- Experience with BTP ABAP Environment & side-by-side extensions.
- Preferred
- SAP BTP services (Event Mesh, Integration Suite).
- CAP or cloud-native development exposure.
