About Penomo

Penomo is building the infrastructure for financing renewable energy projects through asset tokenization. Our platform enables asset owners to raise capital from global investors via secure, compliant digital workflows. Backed by early funding, we’re now scaling our platform and want you to help shape it. We’re transitioning into an AI-first engineering team. We are leveraging tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and AI-based planning / testing automation to optimize how we plan features, manage projects, and deliver production-ready software.

Are you ready to build at the intersection of the three hottest tech narratives?

We’re looking for a motivated Full-Stack Engineer to join our AI-first engineering team at the convergence of artificial intelligence, on-chain finance, and renewable energy infrastructure. You’ll be building cutting-edge technology that automates the entire development workflow while creating production-ready, secure code for real-world energy infrastructure finance. This isn’t just another fintech project. You are building the future where AI handles the entire development lifecycle while touching three of today’s most transformative industries.

Responsibilities

• Own complete feature delivery: idea → planning → implementation → deployment → user feedback
• Use Claude Code/Cursor for AI-assisted spec generation, coding, test creation, and deployment
• Implement security-first architecture for financial applications handling real transactions
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated security checks and testing
• Collaborate on AI-assisted sprint planning and technical decision-making
• Design and implement AI-powered functionalities (prompt flows, document parsing, LLM integrations).
• Deploy and monitor apps on AWS (ECS, CloudWatch, IAM).
• Maintain clean, testable, well-documented code across services.
• Collaborate with founders and teammates to align technical roadmap with business goals.

Qualifications

Obsession to learn how to embrace and master AI-first engineering and become one of the most valuable players in our domain.

5+ years of experience building and deploying production-grade fullstack applications. If you don't have 5 years of experience, but you can compensate this with your drive to learn fast -> please still apply.

• Solid DevOps experience (AWS, CI/CD, observability, incident response).
• Strong understanding of secure coding and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Comfortable leading your own sprint and owning delivery end-to-end.
• Experience in using Claude Code for AI-first software engineering.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Previous experience mentoring or leading small engineering teams or a strong desire to grow into a lead role.
• Comfort with startup-style flexibility and iterative development.

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with smart contracts and tokenization (Solidity, ERC standards).
• Knowledge of NIS2, ISO 27001, or SOC2 implementation.

Our Tech Stack

• Frontend: ReactJS + Tailwind CSS
• Backend: Node.js + Express + MongoDB
• Web3: Solidity / ERC 3643 / ERC 20
• DevOps: AWS (ECS, CloudWatch) + GitHub Actions + Playwright
• AI Tooling: Claude Code / Cursor / AI-based test automation

What We Offer

• Competitive salary based on experience and location.
• Full ownership of your sprint and delivery process.
• Equipment: MacBook Pro
• AI tooling subscriptions: Claude Pro, Cursor, development tools
• Potential equity participation via future employee stock option plan
• Flexible hours with core overlap requirements
• Direct mentorship and growth opportunities in emerging tech stack

Growth Opportunity

Join us early and help define the standard for tokenized asset financing. You’ll shape our engineering culture and evolve into a lead position as we scale.

Make sure you submit the Loom video that we request in the questionnaire. We filter out applicants who do not submit the Loom.
