The Digital Advertising Manager will lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of digital advertising campaigns across Moonshot 's U.S. Online Violence Prevention portfolio. This role combines hands-on digital advertising expertise with strategic campaign oversight, budget management, creative innovation, and technical leadership. Unlike traditional commercial advertising, our campaigns seek to influence awareness, attitudes, and behaviors, including encouraging help-seeking and building resilience to harmful narratives. The successful candidate must understand how to adapt digital marketing strategies, audience engagement approaches, and performance measurement to these objectives, rather than relying solely on traditional conversion metrics.
A key priority is advancing Moonshot 's digital campaigning capabilities to incorporate more engaging and innovative approaches, including video, visual storytelling, creator and influencer partnerships, emerging technologies, and other creative formats. Reporting to a Senior Manager, this role will provide project direction to junior campaign managers and serve as the team's primary technical resource, offering hands-on troubleshooting, training, and coaching to strengthen the team's advertising capabilities.
Candidates must be based in MA, CO, NY, VA, GA, PA, MD, WI, TN, TX, OR, NJ, or DC. Occasional travel may be required.

Measurement, Insights & Continuous Improvement
Lead advertising performance measurement and reporting, establishing meaningful indicators of reach, engagement, conversions, and cost-effectiveness appropriate to campaign objectives.
Work with intervention design and evaluation colleagues to ensure advertising metrics contribute to understanding broader prevention outcomes, rather than relying solely on traditional commercial conversion measures.
