AML Investigator III

Mercury is building a complete finance stack for startups. We work hard to create the easiest and safest banking* experience possible to simplify entrepreneurs' and business owners’ financial lives. The challenge is to do so while ensuring we protect Mercury , customers and the broader financial ecosystem from bad actors and harmful, illegal or unauthorized activities.

Our AML Investigations team is crucial in this mission and is responsible for detecting suspicious activity, conducting thorough investigations, and shutting down bad actors. This team is growing and we’re looking to hire an additional AML Risk Investigator to help us with Bank Partner Requests for Information, Transaction Monitoring, Financial Crime Investigations, Case Management and drafting Unusual Activity Reports. As a member of our Investigations team, you’ll help handle our transaction monitoring queues while balancing an eagle eye for risk with excellent user experience. To begin with, you’ll work to help make sure we have smart, risk-based monitoring in place and help build out our case management technology and processes.
