Position: UK-based VP / Investment Associate
Type: Contract
Compensation: $150/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities
Lead the valuation of private companies using appropriate financial and market-based methodologies.
Build, review, and refine detailed Excel valuation models.
Analyze company performance, financial projections, capital structure, comparable companies, and relevant transaction data.
Assess key assumptions, sensitivities, valuation ranges, and investment risks.
Review investment policy documentation and identify gaps, inconsistencies, or areas for improvement.
Support broader portfolio analysis across public and private investments.
Conduct market-data research and maintain a clear record of sources and assumptions.
Convert analytical findings into concise, senior-level presentation materials.
Prepare simplified trade and investment documentation as required.
Ensure financial models, conclusions, and presentation outputs are internally consistent and decision-ready.
Incorporate structured feedback from senior reviewers and iterate quickly on the work.
Qualifications
Must-Have
5–7 years of professional experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, a Family Office, or investment management.
Strong experience with private-company valuation, financial modeling, investment analysis, and transaction-related work.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and the ability to build robust, auditable financial models.
