Position: BioInformatics Experts
Type: Contract
Compensation: $90–$110/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities
Complete realistic, multi-step scientific data-analysis tasks in bioinformatics .
Write original bioinformatics questions with exact and objective answers.
Choose and anonymize data from public archives like GEO , SRA/ENA , ArrayExpress , PRIDE , PDB , MGnify , or your unpublished lab data for model analysis.
Use scientific software, code, and command-line tools to generate reproducible analyses and structured outputs.
Develop a Jupyter validation notebook using Python or R to reproduce correct answers.
Interpret results in the context of biological or translational questions, communicating assumptions, uncertainty, and conclusions clearly.
Qualifications
Must-Have
Master's or PhD in bioinformatics , computational biology , genomics , statistical genetics , quantitative biology , or a related field.
Hands-on experience analyzing sequencing and omics data, including RNA-seq , WGS/WES , variant calling, metagenomics , or proteomics .
