Senior Backend Engineer

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design and build the services and APIs that power our platform. In this role, you will own backend systems end-to-end — from architecture through production — delivering performant, reliable, and scalable solutions. Our team practices deep AI-human collaboration : engineers work alongside AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) as partners throughout the development process, and we expect this role to bring strong craft and judgment to that collaboration.

What You'll Do:

Partner with AI coding assistants throughout your development workflow — collaborating on design, exploration, implementation, and review — and help shape how the team works with these tools effectively.
