DevOps Engineer

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to support a cloud-based EGM management platform operating at large scale across complex infrastructure environments. The role focuses on platform engineering, automation, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and AWS infrastructure within a business-critical gaming technology environment.

This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong experience with cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, deployment automation, and improving developer experience across distributed environments.

Responsibilities • Standardise deployments into repeatable one button workflows across multiple environments • Support developers by improving SDLC paths, environments, CI/CD pipelines, templates and local development tooling • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform on AWS • Manage SDLC toolchains including GitHub, CI/CD, artifact registries, scanning tools and deployment orchestrators • Work with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Harbor, Nexus, SonarQube, Trivy, ArgoCD and Helm where applicable • Shape networking and service mesh patterns including VPCs, connectivity for air gapped systems and Istio • Embed security from the beginning, including secrets management, RBAC, hardening and compliance automation • Build useful observability focused on reliability, performance and business impact • Partner with engineering teams to define release strategies such as Helm based deployments, ArgoCD, canary and blue green releases • Support system design decisions, document trade offs and improve platform standards
