Director of Product – Healthcare Solutions
Location: US, Remote
Reports to: SVP, Product Management
About You
You are a healthcare technology product leader. You’ve spent years building or shaping solutions that operate inside real-world provider workflows—understanding how clinicians, front-desk staff, billing teams, and administrators actually get work done.
You’ve worked in or alongside EHR, practice management, patient engagement, or healthcare IT platforms in a product leadership capacity. You’ve translated messy operational realities into clear product requirements—and shipped solutions that integrate into existing systems and deliver measurable value.
You understand how independent physician practices, specialty clinics, multi-location provider groups and large healthcare orgs operate. You know where EHRs and practice management systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, AdvancedMD, and others fit—and where they create friction.
You have a strong point of view on how AI is transforming healthcare—not as hype, but as applied workflow automation, intelligent assistance, and operational leverage. You are comfortable going deep into integration architecture, compliance constraints, and AI-driven workflow design.
You are commercially aware but product-led. You think in terms of platform scalability, extensibility, and long-term differentiation—not one-off features. You’re energized by building a vertical strategy within a product organization and shaping something that can become a category leader.
Experience in Unified Communications (UCaaS) or Contact Center (CCaaS) is a strong plus.
About Intermedia
Intermedia is redefining customer experience for SMBs and mid-market organizations through AI-powered cloud communications and CX solutions delivered via our trusted partner ecosystem.
We are building a new model for how work gets done in vertical industries—combining AI Assistants that enhance human productivity with AI Agents that automate workflows across voice, chat, messaging, and back-office processes.
In healthcare, this means more than modern phone systems. It means AI-powered patient engagement, intelligent routing, automated appointment follow-ups, workflow orchestration across EHR and practice systems, and real-time assistance that increases staff throughput while preserving the human connection that care depends on.
Our focus is on small to mid-size healthcare orgs, including independent physician practices, specialty clinics, and multi-location provider groups that need enterprise-grade capabilities without enterprise complexity. We are already winning in healthcare—but we are investing to go deeper by tailoring our AI-powered communications platform to the specific workflows, compliance requirements, and operational challenges of the SMB healthcare market.
This is an opportunity to shape how AI transforms healthcare communications in a segment that is underserved and ready for meaningful innovation.
