About the Orange Movement

Launched in 2022, the Orange Movement™ is a global initiative led by IIX to integrate gender equality and climate action into financial markets. At its core are Orange Bonds™—the world’s first gender-lens and climate-focused asset class—designed to:

Mobilize US$10 billion in capital markets by 2030
Positively impact 100 million women, girls, and gender minorities
Position women and gender minorities as leaders in climate resilience and adaptation

The Orange Movement advances this vision through capital mobilization, policy reform, global partnerships, training, and advocacy. Supported by a three-year anchor grant from Australia’s DFAT, it now seeks a Senior Director who can scale the Movement into a global financial force.

Partnerships & Program Alliances
Manage and expand relationships with investors, corporates, DFIs, philanthropies, and governments.
Support the Senior Director in growing the Orange Investor Alliance and Partner Coalition.
Coordinate across IIX teams and external partners to ensure alignment and collaboration.
Program Delivery & Capital Mobilization
Oversee the design and execution of Orange Movement programs in Asia, Africa, and beyond.
Support Orange Capital transactions (Bonds, Guarantees, Seal, Labeling) by managing workstreams and partnerships.
Ensure high-quality implementation of grant-funded and catalytic capital initiatives.
Training & Market Building
Manage the rollout of the Orange Bond Verifier Training program and related certifications.
Develop training content in partnership with IIX experts and global institutions.
Lead engagement with universities, think tanks, and financial institutions to mainstream Orange finance.
Events, Advocacy & Campaigns
Provide leadership in delivering the Orange Forum and regional convenings.
Oversee campaigns and communication efforts to amplify Orange’s influence globally.
Represent the Orange Movement in external events, panels, and working groups.
Team & Operational Management
Support the Senior Director to supervise associates, analysts, and consultants working under the Orange Movement.
Build strong cross-functional collaboration across IIX teams.
Support governance structures such as the Steering Committee and Advisory Council.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Partnerships & AlliancesSecure 5–6 new regional/global partners annually and deepen engagement with at least 10 existing partners
Fundraising SupportContribute to mobilizing US$1–2M annually in collaboration with Senior Director and IIX senior management; ensure timely grant reporting and donor compliance
Orange Capital TransactionsManage workstreams to deliver 2–3 Orange issuances/initiatives annually, ensuring high-quality execution and replication potential
Training & Market BuildingOversee training for 30–40 Orange Bond verifiers and market actors annually; expand training delivery to at least 2 new geographies
Advocacy & ConveningsSuccessfully deliver 2–3 Orange Movement events/campaigns annually, ensuring strong participation and visibility in target markets
Team & OperationsLead a high-performing program team with clear KPIs; maintain >90% on-time delivery of project milestones and reports
