Join a challenging enterprise technology environment where cybersecurity, resilience and risk management are central to business operations. As a Senior IT Security Engineer, you will help shape security capabilities, strengthen protection across complex IT environments and improve how security threats are detected, investigated and resolved.
This role combines hands-on technical expertise with specialist leadership. You will influence security strategy, advise stakeholders on risk-based decisions, mentor engineers and drive continuous improvement through automation, secure architecture and effective operational processes.
PROJECT & CONTEXT
You will take a leading role across security monitoring, detection engineering, incident response and security systems engineering. Working with multiple telemetry sources and security technologies, you will investigate complex alerts, lead high-impact incidents and develop detection capabilities that improve threat coverage while maintaining high alert quality.
You will also architect, implement and support security controls, identify vulnerabilities and drive practical remediation across enterprise technology environments. A key part of the position involves designing maintainable automation and system integrations that reduce repetitive work and deliver reliable security outcomes at scale.
Beyond technical delivery, you will advise on architecture, access management and security exceptions, helping stakeholders make informed risk decisions. You will contribute to security policies and guidance, strengthen security awareness through measurable insights, manage vendor relationships and support the development of other engineers through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
