This role supports HeritageSG s mission by providing strategic leadership in archaeological research beyond excavation, with a focus on artefact-based and scientific analysis. It strengthens knowledge of Singapores early history while shaping future excavation strategies, collections management, policy development, and long-term heritage stewardship.

What You'll Do

As Head of Archaeology, you will provide strategic leadership in archaeological research beyond excavation, with a focus on artefact-based and scientific analysis. You will lead interdisciplinary research, develop and deliver archaeology, engage key stakeholders and partners, and shape excavation strategies, collections management, policy development, and long-term heritage stewardship for Singapores archaeological heritage.
