Complex Liability Consultant

Core Responsibilities

• Negotiation: Secure insurance recoveries and loss allocations directly from carriers and adjusters.
• Policy Mapping: Review legacy insurance policy documents to build coverage charts and track payments.
• Insurance Archaeology: Research and reconstruct historic multi-year corporate insurance programs.
• Claim Management: Own the end-to-end insurer communication workflow, including notice, tender, and cost-share agreements.

REQUIRES:

• Experience: 5 to 10+ years evaluating coverage on multi-year claims at an insurer, law firm, or insurance archaeology firm .
• Core Skills: Long tail claim , Complex Liability Practice , Risk Management Solutions .
• Domain Expertise: Direct history with mass tort and long-tail claims (Asbestos, Toxic Tort, Environmental/Pollution).
• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
