Job Summary:
Genesis Consulting is seeking an experienced SAP/ERP Project Manager to lead the implementation of an enterprise AI-driven Procurement Card (P-Card) monitoring solution for a State government client. This individual will oversee all phases of project delivery, from planning and pilot implementation through statewide deployment, ensuring successful integration with existing ERP, financial, procurement, and travel & expense systems.
The ideal candidate possesses strong public sector ERP project management experience, preferably supporting SAP or other enterprise financial systems, and has exposure to Travel & Expense, procurement, P-Card, or financial compliance processes. Experience leading complex technology implementations involving multiple stakeholders, systems integration, governance, vendor management, and organizational change management is essential.
Experience managing SAP S/4HANA or ECC implementations, ERP modernization initiatives, or large-scale financial system transformations within state or federal government environments is highly desirable.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end implementation of an AI-powered Procurement Card (P-Card) monitoring solution supporting a statewide pilot and enterprise deployment.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and implementation roadmaps.
Manage pilot implementation across multiple State Agencies and Institutions of Higher Education, ensuring project objectives, timelines, and success criteria are achieved.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including business, finance, procurement, audit, information technology, security, data analytics, vendors, and executive leadership.
