Consultancy Overview

Free the Slaves has developed three (3) training modules - Module 1 – Educating and Mobilizing Vulnerable Communities, Module 2 – Survivor Liberation, Care and Reintegration, and Module 3 – Rule of Law and in the process of completing the fourth module - Ensuring Access to Essential Social and Economic Services . As part of it’s new strategic direction, FTS is in the process of shifting its training and capacity building work to an online platform.

FTS has developed an online version content of the modules but there has been some challenges in executing practically. In addition, trainers and trainees are not able to follow careful while training delivery is ongoing – content sequencing is not well coordinated in the online version that was developed. Also, some sessions are unrealistically long, as well as the trainer not able to conduct or implement some instructions virtually. For example, the use of flip chat, participant having a gallery walk, “packing lot” for burning questions etc.
