Who We Are
Construct is a B2B digital agency focused on delivering measurable outcomes for our clients. We've intentionally designed an agency where expertise becomes systems, AI strengthens delivery, and people do meaningful work. Our team values strategic thinking, continuous improvement, and sustainable pace.
We're looking for people who care about outcomes, want to grow their capabilities, and take pride in building something better than the industry standard.
Construct is looking for a Senior Art Director to lead concepting and art direction for our Philippines team. We don't need a specialist: we want a creative all-rounder who can design a visual identity on Monday, crack a big campaign idea on Wednesday and art direct a digital experience on Friday, on any account we run. Guided by our B2Human approach, you'll work with content strategists, brand planners, digital marketers and creative technologists, for clients in Finance, Professional Services, B2B Tech, Education, Government and Non-Profit across Asia-Pacific. Every job starts with a strong idea, AI gives you more options to explore, and your taste decides which one is right.
Responsibilities
You will:
Lead concepting and art direction across brand identity, integrated campaigns, social, websites, display and film
Use AI across the whole process: research and mood, idea exploration, quick prototypes, image and video generation, motion, and resizing and versioning at scale
Build workflows that make our creative faster and better, then share them with the team
Stay hands-on from concept to final delivery, including full suites of static, animated and responsive assets
Protect each client's brand and own the quality of everything that leaves the studio, whether AI made it or not
Mentor junior creatives with practical, constructive direction
Present to and co-create with clients at every level
Work with Account and Project Managers to deliver on time and on budget
Requirements
Required:
6+ years in a digital or integrated creative agency A strong portfolio showing creative impact across digital and offline work (applications without a portfolio will not be considered) AI fluency with clear proof in your process: AI is part of how you think, explore and make, and you can show us the workflow behind the work, not just the final frames
Hands-on skill with current image, video, motion, design and language tools, such as Midjourney, Runway, Kling, Veo, Firefly, Figma AI, Claude, ChatGPT and ComfyUI, or whatever has replaced them by the time you read this; tell us your stack and why you use it
Strong craft basics in typography, layout, colour and composition, because AI doesn't replace taste
Range across brand, campaigns, social, web, motion, film and print
Curious, experimental mindset; you're always trying new things and sharing what you find
Excellent spoken and written communication; comfortable working with clients and colleagues across Southeast Asia
Team-first attitude, generosity with what you know, and enthusiasm for mentoring others
Nice to have:
Track record of improving how work gets done beyond your own brief, such as a workflow or template your team adopted
Experience building AI workflows that other people use
Track record of mentoring junior team members
Why Join Construct
Construct is building a new kind of marketing agency, one where expertise becomes systems, AI strengthens delivery, and people spend less time on repetition and more time solving meaningful problems.
As a Senior Art Director, you'll work at the intersection of creative craft and client outcomes. This means:
Creative work that matters: You'll spend your time on what makes the work good: the idea, the art direction and the judgement calls. AI and good systems take on repetitive production such as resizing and versioning at scale, and you'll own the creative thinking behind our work.
Growing as the industry evolves: You'll build deeper judgement and commercial awareness by working alongside strategists, planners, marketers and creative technologists, and you'll learn how to shape and direct AI on real client work.
Real ownership and impact: Your ideas don't stay your ideas. When you build a workflow that makes our creative faster and better, it becomes part of how Construct operates. Growth here is tied to contribution.
Ambitious work, sustainable pace: We care about excellence and impact, but we get there through smart thinking and good systems, not through constant scrambling. You'll do your best work when you're not exhausted.
What We Offer:
Flexible schedule and remote work options - We trust our people to do great work where and when it works best. Depending on your location and role, this can mean hybrid or remote working.
Professional development budget - You'll receive an annual training subsidy to build skills that matter for your role. You'll also learn through internal training and regular brown-bag sessions with the team.
Exposure to strategy, content, and client outcomes (rare in agencies) - You won't be siloed in one part of the work. You'll see how strategy and creative translate into execution and measurable results, building the commercial judgement most agency roles never get to develop.
Opportunity to shape how Construct approaches creative and AI - The workflows and improvements you bring become part of how we deliver for clients across the agency.
Time off - Rest matters to us. You'll have paid annual leave and your local public holidays, plus a paid day off to celebrate your birthday. We also give you paid leave for life's big moments.
Mental wellness - On top of annual and sick leave, you'll have 7 days of planned mental health breaks a year to look after yourself. We also run wellness initiatives and team engagement activities throughout the year.
Tech & equipment support - We make sure you're set up to do your best work, with company-issued equipment or a monthly equipment allowance, depending on your location.
If you're the kind of person who gets excited about solving meaningful problems, building better systems, and continuously raising the bar, this is the right place for you.
