Legal Operations Specialist

Overview

Corporate department manages external law firm relationships — billing compliance, vendor performance, and operational efficiency across a global panel of firms. We’re looking for deep legal operations expertise and hands-on experience applying AI to legal workflows. This person will help us modernize how we manage vendor data, streamline billing review processes, and build scalable frameworks that reduce manual effort across the team.

Responsibilities

Evaluate current legal operations workflows (billing review, QBR preparation, benchmarking, staffing compliance) and identify high-impact opportunities for AI-driven automation• Build or configure tools that surface insights from vendor spend data, staffing trends, and firm performance metrics• Partner with corporate legal operations team members to develop standardized templates, dashboards, and reporting frameworks• Document workflows, decision logic, and AI model outputs to ensure transparency and auditability• Advise on best practices for responsible AI adoption within a legal operations context, including data privacy and accuracy considerations
